So, grab a cup of tea, coffee or yerba mate and let me take you on an armchair journey

great variety of terrain and vegetation.

South America
My obsession -
Patagonia
- Torres Del Paine, Puerto Natales,
Chile, South America. It is claimed to be the most beautiful
national park in the word. Very popular with foreigners,
expensive for Chileans because of the remote location.
- Perito Moreno Glaciar, El Calafate,
Argentina, South America. A most remarkable Glacier.
Busloads of tourists visit it every day.
- Nahuel Huapi, Bariloche, Argentina, South America. A
national park in Argentina's top outdoors destination. A huge
selection of activities and places to visit in summer and winter.

So that you can appreciate the images better, use your monitor
controls to adjust the image until all 11 shades of grey are
visible. If possible, set your monitor to
800x600 pixels, 32 bit colour, 6500°K and a gamma of 2.2. Best viewed with the latest web browser. This
website has been made as simple as possible, java and flash add to
download time and are not used.
If you wonder why many of the images are small, it is
because this web site started in 1998, before high speed internet
and it would take a bloody lot of work to redo all the images.
Last update: Images from the Snowy Mountains.
